A problem has developed in my house the past month or so and I was wondering if someone can offer an explanation. Whenever a toilet is flushed or a tap turned off a high pitch hum usually occurs permeating the house. The hum can last for 20 seconds sometimes. For the musically inclined the hum is around middle 'C'. The house has two stories with 3 toilets and is 14 years old. » XBMC thinks it isnt connected to the internet, yet some things work

I've recently had a problem where almost all internet-related things in XBMC won't work. I can no longer play internet video streams / apple trailers, see RSS feeds, or connect to last.fm. However, I can poll the MC360 site to check skin updates, can use XinboX to poll email, can download/update the list of Apple trailers, and can poll the internet for TV/Movie/Lyric info from the various scrapers. According to XBMC's status, the Xbox is "not connected to the Internet". However, it clearly is, and some things do work. I'm connected via DHCP to my router.
